(Reuters) - Two New York City police officers and a suspect were shot in Brooklyn early on Saturday, the department said.
One officer was shot in the torso and the other was shot in the back. Both were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive, a police spokesman said.
A male suspect was shot multiple times and was also taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown, police said.
The circumstances of the shooting were not immediately clear, according to police.
