"In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Andrzej Wajda receiving the Honorary Oscar for Lifetime Achievement, the New York Polish Film Festival, in partnership with the Andrzej Wajda Film Center in Warsaw, will honor the legendary Polish film director.

Andrzej Wajda was a distinguished Honorary Patron of our festival and has been an unwavering supporter of our mission to promote and showcase Polish cinema in New York. We are proud to celebrate his remarkable impact on Polish and global culture by presenting his films at the 20th anniversary of the New York Polish Film Festival.

As we gather in May 2025, we aim to honor Wajda's extraordinary legacy by showcasing six of his iconic films: “Ashes and Diamonds”, “Kanał”, “The Promised Land”, “Everything for Sale”, “Man of Iron”, and “Katyń”.

Additionally, a selection of new Polish films will be featured.

Join us for a tribute to Andrzej Wajda and a celebration of his artistic contributions and influence on both Polish and global cinema while welcoming diverse voices from the Polish film community.

The festival offers a unique opportunity to remember Wajda’s renowned films and introduce new audiences to the beauty and depth of Polish filmmaking.

A pass for all screenings and special events of the festival costs $150.00.

For students, a 50% discount on all tickets upon presentation of a student ID.

A ticket for one film screening costs $25.00.
